Our History

1938

Foundation of the company "Productos de Plomo S. de R.L." by José Trinidad Mata Román.

1951

Expansion of its business lines and adoption of the name "Productos de Zinc y Plomo S. de R.L."

1959

Creation of a new sister company under the name "Zinc Industrial S.A. de C.V."

1985

Restructuring of the company, with a new corporate name: "Productos de Zinc S.A. de C.V.

1995

The company "Aluminio y Zinc Industrial S.A. de C.V." is born from the union of "Productos de Zinc S.A. de C.V." and "Zinc Industrial S.A. de C.V."

2000-2003

Negotiation with shareholders for the total management of the company by our current General Manager.

2003

Relocation of the production plants to our current location in Tultitlán.

2004

Decision to split "Aluminio y Zinc Industrial" into "Azinsa Aluminio" and "Azinsa Óxidos", each one specialized in its sector.
